Graham was previously a Partner and Head of Management Consulting for one of the largest global management and construction consultants. He has led transformation projects in many different industry sectors.
He was responsible for procurement, regulation, and delivery of a £1 billion capital investment program of over 750 projects and led a transformation of capital project delivery for one of the UK’s largest airport operators.
He also led the transformation of capital program delivery to support the merger of two of the UK’s largest high-street banks.
He was Commercial Director of the renowned Centre for Strategic Studies in Construction within the School of Construction Management and Engineering at The University of Reading – a Centre of Excellence in Construction Strategy – undertaking research into global construction. This included a series of highly acclaimed reports on the future of the UK construction and engineering sector with Forewords by a former Prime Minister of the UK Government.
He is currently a member of the Advisory Board at Department of Trade and Industry for reconstruction in Ukraine and is a member of the Innovation and Trends Working Group as a part of the Building Advisory Committee for the Building Safety Regulator.

Ümit Özdemir was born in 1949 in Bor, Niğde, Türkiye. He completed his primary education in Niğde and İstanbul and graduated from Galatasaray High School in 1969. In 1975, he graduated as a Master Engineer from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. Between 1975 and 2021, he served continuously for 46 years in various positions at Tekfen Construction and Installation Co.. Following his retirement at the end of 2021, he became Board Advisor at Metgün Group of Companies.
